I've studied Finance and Program Management at Colorado State University. Through the course of my professional career I have over 10 years of finance and lending experience. In my personal life I have taken a lot of interest in building customizable budgets for my family and friends. In summer of 2023, my husband switched to Active Duty Military and we moved from our home. In this time, we chose it was in our best interest for me to stay home with our toddler and concentrate on applying to Grad School. In losing an income, I knew it was time to really buckle down our budget and the importance of following the budget to assure my family was prepared for emergencies and saving for our daughter's college fund. Those were the beginning stages of forming Budget Ease. The hardest part of budgeting is truly the time commitment and consistency of filling out your budget transaction by transaction. It is my mission to take that burden off households to help them acquire their financial goals and "Making Finances Easy".

My Approach
In order to create a sustainable budget for my clients; I need to understand their financial goals and their spending habits. To create a clients budget it needs to be a full transparency relationship. This includes 3 months of bank statements, credit card, and debit card statements. Why is this? Spending is a routine thing. Therefore; by looking through the statements I am able to assess a baseline for the budgeting items, i.e groceries, gas, household expenses, eating out. When creating budgets, I try to follow the 50-30-20 (50% Needs, 30% Wants, and 20% Savings) rule the best I can based off a households income to liabilities. I offer a service to where I evaluate a client's financial goals and create a customizable budget to meet their needs. I also offer a monthly service to where I create a client's customizable budget and handle the monthly maintenance of a client's budget. Once completed, the client is delivered their budget spreadsheet, monthly transaction tracker, and a report of a breakdown of the monthly spending, as well as suggestions moving forward to either stay on budget or get back on track.
